Refreshing relationships within the community

To be REFRESHED is to have the power to restore freshness, vitality, and/or energy into a person, place, or thing! In this year of REFRESHING, let's not forget the command from Christ to "FEED MY SHEEP!"

To be REFRESHED is to have the power to restore freshness, vitality, and/or energy into a person, place, or thing! In this year of REFRESHING, we have a commandment to also refresh commuity relationships. How do we do that? By feeding the sheep; Spiritually, Socially, Financially, Responsibly, & not Sparingly!

Monday:

Feed My Sheep

(Spiritually)

John 21:15-17 NLT

15 After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these? ” “Yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know I love you.” “Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.

16 Jesus repeated the question: “Simon son of John, do you love me?” “Yes, Lord,” Peter said, “you know I love you.” “Then take care of my sheep,” Jesus said. 17 A third time he asked him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Then feed my sheep.

TUESDAY:

Feed My Sheep

(Socially)

Isaiah 58:10-11 NLT

10 Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. 11 The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.

WEDNESDAY:

Feed My Sheep (Financially)

1 John 3:16-18 ESV

16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 17 But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

THURSDAY:

Feed My Sheep (Responsibly)

DEUTERONOMY 24:19 AMP

“ When you reap your harvest in your field and have forgotten a sheaf [of grain] in the field, you shall not go back to get it; it shall be for the stranger, for the orphan, and for the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

FRIDAY:

Feed My Sheep (not Sparingly)

Leviticus 19:9-10 GW

9 “When you harvest the grain in your land, don’t harvest the grain in the corners of your fields or gather what is left after you’re finished. 10 Don’t harvest your vineyard a second time or pick up fallen grapes. Leave them for poor people and foreigners. I am the Lord your God.
